Aaden's Dedication was so extremely special to my family.
Knowing he has been dedicated to the Lord and that we have committed ourselves to raising him to be a Godly example makes me want to cry just thinking about it.

To Our Amazing Baby Boy:
On Monday April 16, 2012 Daddy and Mommy came before God, in the presence of lots of family {Gma, Gpa, and Uncie Michael, Nana, Great Grandma Pat, Grandad, Nana, Cousin James, Rhiannon, Charlie, Great Aunt Karen, and Auntie Maryl and Unckie Ryan ... oh how loved you are by so many little one!} and your church family {at Cornerstone Christian Church} to dedicate you
{our special boy} to the Lord whom we worship and serve.
We know you are the most amazing gift from God and we give him thanks {every single day several times a day!} for bringing you, Aaden, into our lives! We promise to train you in the things of God looking to him for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength. Daddy and I asked God to bless your life and make you a blessing to others as you allow the Lord to lead your life and to fill you with His power! We look forward to watching you grow physically {it seems like you change every single day!} and mature spiritually.
Although {our little darling} you may not remember this day, we promise {and pray!} that we will always remember the vows we have made to God on your behalf.
Aaden James Watson may you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus, and grow up to live a life pleasing to our Lord {the creator of Heaven and Earth!}.

This letter was actually written by the Children's Minister at Cornerstone as a letter to Aaden when is older to read about the special day. I loved it so much though, it put into words exactly how David and I felt about the night. SO I modified her words as our prayer.
