Great Grandma Nomalee

More special moments with Aaden and his Great Grandma Nomalee.
Simply priceless to me ...

and a special photo to cherish ...

God is so good even through the roughest and toughest of situations. His love is never failing. He is all-knowing and I am so thankful he has everything under control. WHAT A BLESSING!!!!!

Now for the hard part for me ... giving him control.

Oh Lord thank you for my Grandma. Thank you for many many good years of laughs, love, hugs, kisses, snuggles, and most importantly time. Thank you for her kind spirit that even through all her health issues shines through. Thank you for her smile that can light a room with warmth. Bless her dear Lord above with reassurance during her confusion, and with memories as you see fit. May she know everyday that she is loved by family and friends, but mostly dear Lord by you. You are so good. I love you so. AMEN!

It has been so much fun watching them the last few nights, and introducing A to the STL CHAMPS!!!!!

I decided after Tuesday nights loss Aaden needed a onesie to help our boys out! I tried to get it made for the Thursday nights game, but it just didn't happen. I am so happy that I was able to get it complete for tonights game.

Snugglesaurus

Aaden is Mommy's Snugglesaurus for sure!
He can fall asleep almost instantly in my arms, and I must admit it is wonderful to be THE ONE who can get him down when he is at his fussiest. :)

One tired little boy

staring at me while playing peek a boo for the first time

Hi Mom

Currently Aaden SMILES GALORE when I wink at him. It is the sweetest funniest thing ever. However, he is camera shy. LOL

I'm hoping to catch a video tomorrow... so stayed turned for this developing story. :)

Monkey-ing Around

I LOVE the bedtime routine in our house!!
We feed A, play play play with rattles, giggles singing and fun, bathtime, feed again and then lights out. It works every night without fail, and is seriously some of the most precious FAMILY TIME because Daddy is home and able to participate.

I snapped a few photos tonight of play time.

I said it before and I'll say it again ... I LOVE THAT BOY!!!!

Aaden's first Christmas Ornament

I spent a lot of time looking for Aaden's first ornament. Like some of you guessed it is an adorable elephant. :) Don't worry though, I promise to start introducing other animals to him soon. Truth is, I just wanted his first one to be extra special. :)

I simply adore it!!!

Our Lil Punkin'

I have a girlfriend who put her sweet daughter into a pumpkin and from the minute I saw her results, I knew I wanted to try the idea!!

So we picked out the pumpkin &
Nana took the top off ...

Daddy cleaned the "guts" out

and Mommy kept baby occupied!

Daddy lowered him in ...
AND THIS IS THE CUTENESS THAT CAME OUT!!!!!!!!

{this is my very very very favorite}
I seriously seriously seriously love him!!!!!

AHH!
I'm so totally totally in love with him.

Grandad tried on Aaden's accessories too.

First he smiled ...
THEN

he frowned!
SOOOO FUNNY!!!!

After cleaning A up from his pumpkin photos, I decided to try a few others in his laundry basket with a white blanket that came from my parents neighbor.

A new favorite!

Handmade Surprise

I love getting mail.
It is so fun getting to open a package you weren't expecting and that you have no clue what is inside.

When I got home from spending the afternoon with Grandma {HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!} there was a special delivery for David and I. I had no clue who it was from, and no idea what was inside.

Imagine my pleasant surprise to find ...

these amazingly detailed baby moccasins all the way from Arizona.

David's Uncle Ken and Aunt Becky sent them.
HOW SPECIAL!!!!

I can't wait to put Aaden in them ...
and I can totally imagine them in a shadow box once he outgrows them.

Thank You Thank You Thank You

Watson Family Ornament 2011

As I mentioned in this blog post  from the other day, Traditions are very important to me! Every since I was a little girl my Grandma bought me an ornament. They were always related to something BIG that year like a motion picture or our first school year. She had every single ornament personalized with each grandkids name and the year.

I cherish all the ornaments even more now that my grandma is too far along in her Alzheimer's to even remember she use to do it. Every year when we put up our family tree I pull each ornament out one but one and remember how precious they are to me.

Knowing how important the ornaments were to my grandma I picked up where she left off immediately. I have purchased a family ornament every year since David and I were married.

I have an awesome 1st Christmas ornament from Hawaii and several other polymer clay ornaments for the other years. I <3 them all and for different reasons.

This years ornament I especially love.
a) because it includes Aaden
b) because it is customized to look like each of us
c) it was brilliantly priced {be sure and check out Karen's website}

Isn't it the cutest???
I love the little teddy bear snuggled next to 4 month old Aaden and Harley Puppy.

:)

I can't wait to hang it on the tree!!!!!!

I'm waiting on Aaden's First Christmas ornament to arrive, I will be sure to show you as soon as it does!! Any guesses what it is? {hehehe}

Bath Time

In the beginning Aaden HATED bath time. I mean it was an all out battle between Mommy, Daddy, and Baby. He was soooo dramatic screaming bloody murder {water wasn't too hot or too cold according to the temperate changing duckie} turning purple even.

We of course felt bad for him, but well, everyone has to shower. LOL

So, after several weeks he now LOVES bath time. It is like night and day cooing and caaing at Daddy. {Bathtime has become "their" time, and Aaden soaks up his Daddy time every night}

He looks scared, but he is getting use to my flash ... it scares him still. LOL

one more hehe

getting more comfortable :)

SUCCESS!

I love his blue eyes.
They are just like Daddy's
