Special Present!

Some of you will remember this post I wrote back in January in Remembrance of my Uncle Bob. He was such a great man who had a great impact on my life.

Having my Michigan Family come for a visit the day after A was born ROCKED!!!! Although my Uncle Bob wasn't there, his spirit certainly was. My cousins Dave, Pam & family brought me the most perfect personal and thoughtful present EVER!!!!

It is an elephant diaper bag!!!!

But the most precious part ...
They Had It Engraved!!!!!

The inside reads:

In Loving Memory of
John (Uncle Bob) Nelson
Love the Nelson Family

As you can tell from the above picture the thoughtful gesture brought tears to my eyes.
So so so special!!!!!

I couldn't resist getting the family to snap a few photos with A inside the bag.
{His newborn rash is really strong here poor little guy}

Thank you Dave, Pam, Alyssa, Alex, and Aunt Louise for coming to visit.
It was wonderful to see you, and I can't wait to bring Aaden up to visit you all so very soon!!!

Love you all so very much!

Introducing Baby A

Aaden James Watson was born on August 20 at 3:17pm weighing 9lbs 15.3oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.  He is my sweet, adorable, snuggable, loveable, cheeky little guy. So healthy, so beautiful, and so incredibly hard to believe David and I MADE him. God is so amazing.

I will write a few more posts of how everything developed later, but for now a few fav photos. :)

Nursery Part 6 of Several :) "How will you know it's Aaden's Room?"

Aaden's room is full of very very special things to me.
Two quilts had stitched {crocheted} from very special women in my life, a teddy bear ceramic my Mom painted and gave to me when I was a little girl, a brand new personalized elephant bank, and many many more priceless pieces. {a post of those later today if I can get some photos}

Today though, I want to show you the thing that will forever {or at least as long as I have a say ... haha} be on the outside of Aaden's door.

This is one of the most priceless items.
It is a handsewn felt elephant from my very best friend Suzy.

It was a complete surprise, and totally totally irreplaceable in my mind.

We found the perfect place for him.
Outside the nursery door. :)

He happily welcomes everyone to open up and see the inside.

Thank you Aunt Suzy for making the perfect piece to let everyone know
"This is Aaden's Room"
